Report: AvtoVAZ to resume production at ex-Nissan plant in H2 2023

MOSCOW, Dec 19 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ will resume production at the former Nissan car plant in St. Petersburg in July–December 2023, CEO Maxim Sokolov told Rossiya 24 TV channel on Monday.

“We are planning to do this already in the second half of next year,” he said.

He also said that AvtoVAZ is now negotiating with new partners who will supply car equipment to the enterprise and intends to complete the talks in January–February.
